Thread: Has anyone done speed tests on the Flash Speeder?

I'm curious to know how its speed and climbing rate compare to the AV-21. Surely someone has run some tests on this?

i hear its as fast as the speeder bike but i havn't really used mine much 2 find out

When I was driving it around in beta, I did not have an AV21 to compare it to, but compared to the other vehicles it appears to have the speed of the speederbike and terrain negoatiation of the X34 landspeeder. So it should be slower than the AV21 since the AV21 is comparable to the swoopbike in terms of speed.

Here is the speeds of the in-game vehicles from least to greatest, from what I have gathered
Jetpack ->speederbike/new flash speeder/landspeeder->swoop->AV-21

I found the speed to be just perfect for me. I usually lag when on the swoop because of my connection, so typically used the speederbike or x34 speeder. This is my favorite now. Plus it looks really cool. If it came down to riding a swoop to save time or suffering for style I choose style most every time.

The flash speeder sucks on terrain (heard stories of people running past it on a hill.)
However, the flash speeder has a nice speed, maneuvers great, and isn't too wide, so is perfect for getting around towns.

i did a run from mandaloria naboo, to new rose naboo, on ahazi in both the flash speeder and my 97% av 21, both took just over 3 minutes. The difference was about 12 seconds in favor of the av21. I havent gone to a hillier place yet to test climb rates though

try it on dathomir. from dathomir outpost to either the fs place, or, the imp prison.

I think the speederbike should be a notch above the landspeeder
