I got a mail on Oct 26 saying I was eligable for 450 day reward (I have 491). I try to claim the 450 ship and it said sorry you don't have JTL. So I buy JTL today and try to claim it again and I'm only offered the 180 day reward there is no longer any 450 option. I've checked my datapad, pack and bank and no deed or anything. What's going on?

There is no 450 day option currently, there is only the 180 day one.

Does this have something to do with the wrong calculations they were looking in to?

There was a 450 day option when I first did /claimveteranreward, as there was one for 180 days and other levels. When I chose 450 it popped up another window that listed the yacht with two asterisks beside it and a note that it couldn't be claimed until I got JTL. I know have JTL but the 450 optionis no longer listed.
Are you saying the 180 day option will get me the ship?

Nevermind. The SoroSuub isa 180 day reward. Tried it and got it.
