Devs said a lot of things, like jedi would be rare and hard to obtain.

True enough, but if enough players want something then anything can change. The vast majority of players want jedi, me included. So we get jedi... I would love a starship terminal to be used in player cities, but it won't ever happen. At best I could see something akin to a player garage that would allow a player to park one ship there and that would be it. At this point who knows. I doubt it will happen anyway...

According to the NGE, Chewbacca is Un-Star Warsy because he can both fire a bowcaster and fix droids.
