I dont need any disc's anyway true? or do i need a disc too?

yes, you'll gonna need a disc, the disc has all kinda ship meshes and stuff non-JTL don't need

if you purchase a jtl cd-key the launchpad dwnloads the game you dont need the cd its just a huge download were the cd would slash about 600mb off the d/l.
