I'll post to confirm.
If I try to autopilot it sends me off in the wrong direction. I've resorted to just using the WP system to figure out where I'm supposed to be going.

Auto-pilot has been working fine for me.
It sends you to your destination via predetermined NavPoints, which 99% of the time are NOT a straight line to your destination.
Only takes a few seconds of paying attention to really get it.

Whew! i thought I was the only one. It had worked fine for me in BETA, but last night when I went into autopilot, it sent me in the wrong direction. I was also killed because my reticle detached from my ship and was tracking targets behind me. I couldnt steer or shoot properly because I was looking at my roof and rear seat, wherever the enemies were. If I had been in an expensive ship with good equiptment, I would have been furious.

Try hitting the Num Lock key. It causes the camera to track targets. Hitting it will probably fix the problem of looking at targets behind you.

Yeah, it worked fine the first day but now the piloting computers are uprising to maliciously get us lost in space and take over the Universe while we drift along, helpless, trying to find that fekking landing station.

Thanks! IIRC last night I accidentally hit the num lock key on my way to a waypoint. Im so used to hitting num lock to keep my speeder moving,I did it in space.Time for a test when I get home.
