Maybe it's just me, but what's the difference?
I was an Imp that was signed up with the Imperial Navy out of Naboo, can't remember which squadron. I quit and decided to go feelancer.
I then stayed on Naboo and joined up with the RSF. But thinking about breaking loose and joining the CorSec (after I drop some negative faction) What's the difference of joining each squaderan, you dont' list as being different if you are RSG than you do if you are CorSec or Hutt.
Plus, it doesn't seem if there is a difference for being in different squads in the Imps and Rebs.
I'm guessing it's more roleplay value than anything else. If there is a difference, let me know. I'm just curious.

RSF is Imperial aligned, CorSec is Rebel aligned. So the missions will follow suit.

Each squad sends you on different missions to get your way up the tiers.
For example:
If you go Rebel on Tatooine, your tier 2 takes place on Yavin 4...then tier 3 is on Dathomir, then tier 4 is on Rori.
If you go Rebel on Naboo, your tier 2 takes place on Dantooine...then tier 3 on Dantooine, then tier 4 is on ???? (never got that far in beta).
The missions will be different from the different locations.

So basically, I could climb way up to being a Decorated RSF pilot, then resign and work on being a decorated CorSec pilot, and then say frag it and go smuggler. Cool. thanks
