new sector called kessel but i dont see it in jtl

you can only go there from a specific space station in certain sectors. its different for each profession. Imps go from dantooine, rebels from yavin i think and privateers from endor or something.

Bah there was a post in old beta forums where each faction had to go..

I know for sure imps go to endor (go to the last sector on the hyperspace list, something with a D), then go to the empire station, target the station, type /conv, ask to go to kessel, and if u are able, u will go

Close. The Imperial station is in Endor, and the freelance station is in Dathomir. I don't know where the Rebel one is.

There are 2 sectors that done appear on the normal hyperspace map - Kessel & Deep Space.

These are both PvP sectors with very high Level NPC spawns. Kessel is for 4/4/4/4 pilots (the missions to level up to Master are done there) and Deep Space is for Master Pilots - the Master Content is here - eg Star Destroyers etc.

They are both very dangerous sectors, so unless you like being shot down within 10 secs of Hyperspacing in, Id stay out unless you are Master or 4/4/4/4.

went there during beta on my little light duty tie fighter, although I survived, it is NOT smart to go there unless you like shade said, are 4/4/4/4 (or just about that)

there are tier4 and 5 ships there in formations of 5 (b-wings, a-wings) ready to gank you (or if your reb, opressors, and stuff)

i managed to stay at a close distance, i acutally matched speed with a stardestroyer and stayed close to it so it would tkae down any inbound rebs while i pulled off a few screenshots.

however it might have been tweaked for live

Kessel not dangerous when you get out of hyperspace the enemy ship are far away and even so when you engaged a battle whit them they rarely shoot at you
