Thread: (EBGames preorder) Got the key for the speeder but not JTL yet: what I can do ?

Hi all,
wondering about thread title... I preordered from EBGames, but thanks to UPS, and altough the pack was shipped the 26th, it`s not yet here in Italy.
Meanwhile, EBGames sent me an email giving me the flash speeder code.
So, to summarize: I have the speeder code but I don`t have yet the JTL box.
Is there anyobody that can simply tell me if I can input the code now (and where ? over the "register expansion" ?) or if I have to wait for my retail copy of JTL ?
Sorry but I did a search and didn`t found an explicit answer to this...

Yes you can enter your speeder code 1st, it doesnt matter. When you get JTL the Expansion register it in your ACCOUNT information.

I am still trying to get my Flash Speeder since I pre-ordered JTL, apparently the Pre-Order JTL came with another disk to register your Flash Speeder and
to Register for the Combat Balance Revamp test. I got the game thru Gamestop pre-order online and only got the game without the Extra Key to unlock SPEEDER.

This is really weird.
You`re telling me that I have to register for a new beta (that I will NOT do...) so to get it. I`ll try it.
I already searched on the account to see where it could be, but have not found it.
Consider that the only info I got from EBGames (already sent an email for support: still no answer..) is what follows:
"Subject: Your EBgames.com Order for Star Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed
(...blah blah blah...)
To redeem your code open the Star Wars Galaxies Launchpad and within your account settings you will be able to enter your code. The next time you login to Star Wars Galaxies you should have your speeder!"

BUMP... anybody received the same instructions from EBGames ? If yes, did you entered it as they say on the account part of the launchpad ?
Sorry, I just dont want to screw up everything...

No knucklehead....
You will get 2 keys
One with your preorder disks...
One with the JTL disks....
You open the launchpad and choose 'Register expansion'. This allows you to register your PREORDER key...this also gives you your speeder.
Then when you get your JTL disks in...you will have to do it AGAIN...this will let you enter the JTL key and will enable JTL content.
That is all.

Wow... a clear answer that makes sense !
So if I understood you corectly, it seems there are no problems if I enter the speeder key BEFORE I enter the JTL key...
Will try tonight, thanks: surely would have helped if EBGames was clear like you...

Yea, it'd be nice if they could ship in a timely manner too....I STILL dont have my Preorder....I went and bought the damn thing because I got tired of waiting....preorder my ass...

Tried yesterday evening registering the speeder WITHOUT JTL (still not received...) and I don`t get it in-game (I did ofcourse the register-reboot lanuchpad dance).
Hope to see it when I`ll register JTL...
