can anyone tell me which ships can hold an astromech droid?

Basically Rebels have droids, Imps have flight computers.

The droid must be an Rx unit, and have a Data Module fitted to store the commants. Buy some unprogrammed memory chips, program them with the command you wish and transfer the chip to your datapad. Call the droid, open the data storage and place the chip in there. The droid will now know the command.

I think just X-Wings and Y-Wings can have astromechs.

Lorewise only X and Y wing have droids, but ingame I think everyone can mount a droid in their ship.
