it's been awhile since i played and i recently came back to SWG and bought the new SWG:TTE. i joined the imperial forces and was listed as on a leave of absence. So i fixed that and my character shows as an Active combatant. But yet when i kill the rebel npc ships i don;t get any faction points like i use to when i killed faction npcs on the ground.
is it supposed to be this way or am i doing something wrong?
any help is appreciated, thanks

in order to get faction for killing npc's in space you have to be overt to get fp, thats just the way it is.

Overt from ground NPC? or Overt Space Station Option? Be nice for some elaboration, but I read post here, post there that say both. But, I know you can stay covert (combat/leave on ground) and declare in space to get your FP.

You need to declare overt at an Imperial Space Station (Endor System). Ground status doesn't matter.

You can go overt at any imperial space station, the one in endor is jsut for going to deep space.
