I have all tier 1 boxes done, and currently have a Y-wing with all Mark-2 stuff. I have Mark 2 Seismic missles, and a Mark 2 Ion Cannon. I need to do my second tier missions for the lady in lok but I can't seem to get past the first one.
It's an escourt mission...but here's the problem: the enemies come, and I can attack them, but it takes extreemely long to kill just one...and I'm supposed to be able to take on 5 at a time to save this ship? By the time I'm done killing one, the ship is already dead and I fail the mission.
I aim directly in the middle of that green "recticle" that shows up in front of a ship, fire away, and still get completely random results. I've made SURE I've been hitting it, and looking at the "Shields" percentage in the upper right hand corner, and it doesn't go down at all sometimes! What is with this?
Also- I got a large ship cargo hold for my ship, installed it, but I can't seem to find out how to actually open it and put stuff in it...how do you do this?

Oh yes one more thing- I got an Astromech level 2 droid and put it in my ship, (I made sure to program all the commands prior to doing it) and got a driod interface too, but when I get into space, I don't get any astromech control commands under ctrl + a, any help??

I'm not sure about the droid and cargo question, but I think I can help with the targeting question.
First -- don't treat the reticle as gospel -- aiming right in the middle doesn't always help. Especially when aiming at faster ships, you'll see its shields flaring up in front but no damage to the shields. This is tricky -- you need to adjust your fire away from the reticle a bit until you find a point where those shields actually start taking damage. In other words, ignore the reticle, watch where you shots are actually going, and see if you can get the ship to run into your shots.
My two cents
