Thread: Y-wing 2nd weapon

Ok, first I must appologize if this is a noob question. The search isn't working and
everyone I have asked in game doesn't get what I'm talking about. Or they don't know how
to explain it to me.
I have a red blaster as my main weapon, it works fine. I have missiles they work fine.
I have a green blaster in my second "weapon" slot, not ordenance. It does not work no
matter what I do. I have grouped it, not grouped it, fired weapon 2. Everything but it
won't fire. The gun works cause if I load it as my main weapon it works and the red one
does not. It's not a power or mass thing, I have tonnes of room. Can someone explain
how this dual weapon thing works and what the point of it is. I have been trying to
figure it out all day.
Oh yeah, if I put the green blaster as a group, it switches to that group but when I hit
the trigger I get nothing and then it switches back to group 1 and fires the red blaster
just fine. I'm so confused. Thanks for you help,

Standard Y-Wing is a 2 person craft and the 2nd player opperates that top turret. What you need is a Y-Wing Longprobe (next tier up in starship certs) which is a singler player only version where the top turret is opperated by the pilot.

This question seem relivant here:
Generaly speeking, how much does a Y-wing longprobe Blueprint run, I have the first tier 3 mission for Ep. Squadron (the one with the YT-1300 and I am thinking I need the extra forward firepower to down it's shields and disable it...)
