How is everyone making all this money to power their harvesters? I have engineering IV and I have built half a dozen harvesters and oodels of powerups and try to sell on Bazaar. My harvesters I sell for 1K and I haven't sold even one yet after a week of being on the bazaar. I'm going to be a novice architect soon but I only have 100 credits after the money I spent putting my items on the bazaar. How does everyone sell their stuff? Is the bazaar a bad idea? I tried shouting in the city for a few hours to sell my stuff but no luck there either.

Also.. if anybody could answer this for me too - Do different items give you different exp for crafting them? Does the difficulty equate to exp? I am currently making weapon upgrades cuz they are 14 dificulty and cost next to nothing for resources compared to all the things that are higher difficulty than 14. Only a couple are a higher difficulty than 14 but cost like 200 resources instead of 10. I'm wondering if making weapon powerups is the way to go if I'm trying to gain exp.

Thanks

ok, first off...everyone and their mother can make harvesters so no one is going to buy them. I can solve both your problems at once

Build bone armor chest plates. You get like 700 XP after crafting all of it and you can sell them on bazaar for about 1000 creds.

I get most of my money running delivery missions. This is supplemented by tips for healing, and training. Experience payout is about 2:1 XP to resources. There is some variation due to UXP. Weapon powerups are 4:1 GCXP. Barrels are worth the same as muzzles, and are of lower complexity, and thus craft more quickly and with less potential for error.

Weapon powerups seem to be the preferred method of getting exp until you get to novice weaponsmith/powersmith due to their low resource/exp ratio from the many posts I've read on this forum. I am a novice weaponsmith and didn't choose to go that way only because I couldn't take the boredom and actually wanted to sell a few thing along the way.

I used a combination of making weapons (pistols, carbines and rifles) and bone armor. My character is artisan/scout/marksman trained so I was able to gather my own bone and hide. A full set of armor gave close to a few thousand crafting exp. Weapons are a different matter though. A fully tweeked out weapon didn't seem to give much more exp than a weapon powerup and consume significantly more resources.

You may want to closely consider the number of harvestors you are running. At engineering IV to novice weaponsmith, I found that I couldn't really support many more than 2-3 harvestors. I could do this by selling my wares and by running 2-3 missions an evening. I've never tried to sell a "deed" so can't give you any feedback on this.

I've read alot of posts saying people are selling bone armor. I guess I'll have to go that route. Just would hate to spend all that time to be able to kill something to the bone. Right now I can't seem to kill anything. I get my ass kicked every time. In 2 weeks I've managed to kill 1 animal by myself and it was a baby. I don't think I even got any experience for killing it. I never attacked things on my belly till lately though so I think I can kill things that way. Making armor sounds like alot of fun though. I just hope it will sell... if the market for armor disappears when I finally make my first chestpiece I'll be really upset. Any suggestions as to what pieces to craft though? I'd like to make exp AND money. Seems like aot of people are just making the chestpieces and I figure players must be looking hard for the other pieces.

Seiroth, I was in your same situation, I was an artisan with light scouting skills and it was taking forever to get anything.

but I added novice marksman and I must say it's the best move I've ever done. I am able to camp in an area with a high density of frog and rabbit creatures and kill them in about 20 seconds.

I am thinking that right now, as a character who dreams of being a master artisan, having scouting and marksman ship truly helps.

In fact I will most likely surrender my survey skills once I get a few well running harvestors.

Made Novice Creature Handler yesterday. Went out and tamed a baby Roba and a baby Vicious Half Dun. Had them follow me around for a while, then stored them and logged off. Now, post patch, I'm unable to retrieve either one, getting the message, "You can't control any more pets. Store one first."

I didn't *have* any pets out at all. I can't call any pets. According to the info. in the Novice window, I can have one pet out and there's a level limitation of 15. Even destroyed the Roba baby in order to try to call the remaining pet, the Half Dun - no dice, same infuriating message.

Can someone enlighten me? Thanks

Well that depends on a lot of things....

You would def want to contact who ever you ordered from. But if you pre-ordered online and didnt pay for over night shipping it wont be there yet. So if you didnt pay 10 bucks extra for over night then give it a few days.

...how a cl 72 bounty hunter can outheal my damage, can outdamage me and forces me to run away even though I'm a +210k jedi. Idc how good his rifle is or how effective his armor is, this is major unbalancement that needs to be fixed.
