Hi all.

Does anyone here know how to get the afformentioned ARC 170 ship asneutral pilot? Am I right in fearing it's a rebel only and then I need to fork out millions upon millions for a ship that is easy to get, but only goes for the high prices because of peoples greed?

I am a 4.3.3.3 Neutral pilot so I am able to deed the ship once I get hold of it. But if it is only a rebel only then why in the world is all 3 pilots able to get a cert forit? Thanking you in advance for any help.

I have done a thourgh search for and all I came up with was a guide for the rebels.

Here's a step-to-step tutor for you bro.

You must have some kind of rebel connection to it all, and you can not be an RSF pilot (if i remember it correctly).
I'm a freelance pilot, Smuggler's Alliance Ace pilot. But i'm rebel on the ground.

The rebel on the ground is the key to this mission.

You need to go as a "combatant" and see the queen of Theed, she's deep within the castle walls, if your back faces the entrance, she's on your left side, past the theed librarian.

Once you find the queen, talk to her, she'll give you the quest to meet up with a Wookiee contact on Kashyyyk.

This is the tricky part, succesfully escorting the wookiee back to Kachirho. Now they seem to have revamped escort missions, the npc's are slower walking than ever, and if you come further from your escort than 10 meters, you have 10 seconds to get closer or the mission will FAIL. The enemies that might ambush you on the way back are not tough, it's the bugs that are tough.

After that, i think it's time for you to hit space, if i remember it right, can't fill you in on details on that unfortunately.

JAILBREAK! Now you will need to go to the Imperial Prison on Dathomir, i went there as an "on leave" rebel, and i just had to escort a Wookiee and his she-wook out the gates without any kind of interruption from the retarded Imperials.

After that, there was a big space battle, once you get out of the gates of the prison, you will split up with the wookiees and they will head for a rebel hangar and take off to escape from the prison. They will fly two or one ARC 170 fighter.

When you've succesfully defended them from the imperial fighters and whatever is a threat to them, you go back to the queen and she'll give you an old type of fighter that was used in the clone wars, the ARC 170.

Congrats.

I am Imperial also. While I should just be happy with my JSF, I really wanted the ARC-170. Do you have to be a Rebel combatant to talk to the queen?

Yes, quest is rebel only as the JSF is imp only.

I may appear imp here, but I have two accounts and the one in question is a neutral pilot. Though She recently signed up with the Reb's to do that very mission. As you stated I am RSF. But how do I change my affliaction, if at all possible. Hmmm this has turned out to be a fiacso so far then, I did the ground based easli enough. But when I lanuched from Dath the imperial crafts that where shooting at the ARC 170 was friendly towards me so I couldnt blast the darn ships. :/

I had so looked forward to getting that Spanking ARC 170.... *sigh* Oh well I guess I will have start hoarding huge amounts of cash if I am ever to try. Thank you for helping me see the some what dark light.

To change your flight-campain, go see the pilot's guild founder in Bestine Hotel, the mon cal. He will ask you what's up and then you'll answer him that you wish to retire.

It's easy to get for a neutral pilot so long as you are neutral or rebel on the ground. If your neutral on the ground just join the rebellion for a couple hours. It takes 200 faction points.
