Well, I have a Y-Wing, but I've never been able to fire the top turret. I was told by a guildie that it's because the Y-Wing needs a gunner for the turret. However, I thought that the Y-Wing "Longprobe" was the one that needed a turret gunner, not the normal Tier1 Y-Wing. Maybe I'm wrong.

But what makes the Longprobe so much different from the normal Y-Wing then? I haven't been able to figure it out.

Th eLong Probe is the 1-seater like your guildie said. The regular Y needs a gunner.

Ahhh, I see. Strange though... in the Imperial branch, tier 2 is where the two-seater came in, so I assumed it would be the same for Rebel. Ah well, thank you for clearing that up.
