Thread: So, will the new expansion include space over Mustafa?
someone claimed the devs said that Mustafar won't have a space sector.
Of course Things can change at a moments notice.
Now, if more information comes out and it turns out the expansion might actually have something, anything cool in it, I might revise that statment.

It would seem that since the Dev's put in a planet that you can only reach by space (Kashyyy), the decided to balance it by putting in one that can only be reach by shuttle (Mustafar).
My guess about the expansion and the lack of a space sector:
This expansion is being marketed directly to Jedi. Sure, sure... The devs have said that anyone can participate in the content and what not, but if a selling point is a lame contrivance like a lightsaber crystal fished out of a lava pool... Right.
I don't think the scope of this expansion is meant to go very far. If they wanted a real expansion with full space content and everything else, they'd have to package it with JTL like they did with Rage of the Wookiees, or else people with the old stand-alone core package would be left out of some of the content. This isn't going to be a 'full' expansion like Rage of the Wookiees. It smells like a rushed job to do some additional sales, geared towards everyone who bought the original box.
To make sure we (JTL enthusiasts) buy the package, they are releasing extra toys for us to play with. I fully expect these toys to be limited in both usefulness and scope. No QIDs. No nice level 7/10 guns.Maybe an enhanced Ixiyen/TIE bomber/Y-wing to fly for style points. Maybe some new light freighters/yachts. Fun to fly, but ultimately not too useful.

Just to fill you in on current events, since you're now making a game of sniffing my ass, this was before I got the full dump on the Trials expansion, including its lack of a space sector (Which still makes no sense. You can shuttle to a middle of nowhere hell world, but not to the homeworld of a major species? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?) and before I heard about Publish 24, which is more love than most of us Pilot types know how to handle.

Exactly.. it's not like Mustafar is a tourist trap.. there shouldn't shuttles for the general public to take to a mining world..
