Thread: Opinions on best ships for PVP and PVE!
Firespray is more of a novelty item then an actual flying ship, though I've seen a few well equipped ones tear some people up. They just can't compete with the speed of PvP.
JSF/B-22: Only difference is the size of the hitbox. Oh yeah...and they look different. Other then that, they react identically to eachother in terms of speed/maneuverability.
PvE as a Freelance: You get it best. Can't beat the Krayt for PvE. That much mass, that many guns, it's above average maneuverability for a heavy fighter. What more could you ask for.
PvP as a Freelance: As odd as it sounds, a Heavy Scyk, Dunelizard, or the Vaksai (JSF/B-22 clones aside). Other then that, you would just be too big of a target out there, with not much helping you out. I have seen a few PvP-setup Dunelizards, and let me tell you, done right, that's one vicious little ship. I'd recommend staying clear of the JSF/B-22, since you really won't learn a lot of the finer details of PvP flight.

A rare rare few have made Nova Couriers, Decimators and YT-1300's work.
"LOL d00ds! Look @ teh nub in teh Nova Courier lolz!"
"Warning incoming missile? Wtf is dat lol?"
3x Image Rec II's FTW.
The poon answer is the Vaksai, RG TIE, JSF or the Belbullab.
Those with style use the TIE Advanced, A-Wing, Advanced X-Wing, stock X-Wing, Rhyx, Khyrz, Dunelizard, Ixiyen, or one of the Heavy Starters.
Those with balls the size of Death Stars use B-Wings, Firesprays, ARCs, Oppressors, Krayts, Kimos, TIE Bombers, TIE Aggressors, TIE/In, and Y-Wings.

its all a matter of opinion but i'll say this much, firesprays stink in pvp, they are too big a target for my taste.
Agree but Firesprays are not ment for PVP action. They are more designed for stealth and taking down larger ships due to their heavy payloads.
If you want to totally disarm and destroy a Corvett ship, Firespray is your ticket! PVE it rocks! Dont get me wrong when you first sit in the seat its awkward and very odd. But once you get used to a firespray and knowing you have that heavy payload to get pretty comfortable with knowing you can take down dreadnaught ships! I killed an Eclipse one time solo with a Firespray. Its a wonderful thing PVE wise. I took it out for PVP and with the right missles you can kill the opposition but expect to blow up every time you go out there. In a dog fight you need something slender.
Vakasi ship is a wonderful ship and perfect to PVP in. But remember there is only one blaster on the ship so your going to have to do some nice flying and use your specials as a nuetral pilot.
PVP is fast and furious and not intended for the weak of heart..... Jedi Starfighters are the nicer of the ships being they are SOOOOO damn small.... But ive seen A-Wings and thier pilots dance circles around PVPers.....

Wish they made it so the guns on a POB yacht could fire as quickly as a corvette gun
I've got a Null Bolt with a Type V Quick Charge, experimented for speed, with a .25 refire. Plenty fast.

You can fire from a Yatch?
I was thinking he meant POBs in general, since most people think of them as glorified yachts.
