well, u dont have to ever fly the ARC, soo any rebel could do it. Problem is im a weak CL, so if any imp NPC sees me while im combatant ,im dead. Plus, i have no idea where to find a rebel recruter. Hard to find they are.
... Yes I am Totally Brain Dead
Oh my.
Declare at the rebel outpost on Rori, that's an easy spot at least. Then hop to Theed. Bike, run, whatever to the palace. After you have the mission you can die happily and not worry about being combatant.

right. i just got 4333 netral pilot and i want to fly an ARC.
But ive been hearing a lot of stories about these things. first off you need to be rebel to get the mission.
Well thats fine but i really dont want to give up my staus as an imperial colonel just for a ship
next that you need to be rebel pilot in order to fly the ship on its first launch or the deed cant be used
this is the main bugbear. after grinding my ass off to get this far in netral pilot i dont want to turn round and wipe all my progress in order to get a ship which i cant fly untill i do more ass grinding to get back to where i am now so i can use the ship for the first time and then go back again to get...... god its confusing!
all i want is the ship and i want to know if i buy one from a vendor, can i just undeed the ship, load it up with equipment and start blasting things?
also, how much would i be looking at to buy one? i saw one for 5mill but that seemed a bit harsh so if anyone has one for sale on bloodfin at a cheaper price that IS pilotable by a neautral pilot straight off with no faffing aroundthen please let me know!
oh and if anyone can explaine the whole situation with this ship then please do. im really confused about the whole thing.

Sorry, no you can not. You can not undeed the ship if you have not completed the quest.
Now, you ARE a privateer pilot, so you do not have to regrind pilot to get this ship. What you will have to do: Retire from the Imperial army (yeah, that one hurts), and get enough faction to join the rebellion. Do the quests (unfortunately as a Rebel but still a privateer pilot, ok?). You can now generate the ship! Note: the quest involves killing TIEs, so if you are RSF pilot hire someone who can shoot TIEs or you will never be able to complete it.
Once it is in your datapad, you're golden, just don't EVER remove it. And just changing faction shouldn't cause a problem, the problem is with changing pilot professions (once you drop pilot, it resets all space missions).
The bug that people are encountering, is they don't undeed it before switching pilot profs and thus they can't without CSR assistance, unless the Devs finally fix it. ![]()
