Thread: Rebel Astroid Bases and other ideas. More immersive play.

Wouldn't it be nice if sometime in the future they take down those massive and very overt looking Rebel bases and replace then with much more covert looking astroid bases. Basically large astroids converted into hidden bases. It would also be nice if they were off the map but you had to run special missions or talk to the right NPCs to learn their location.
The Rebels just don't have massive space stations like those that exist in the game. At best they should have a few cap ships that act as space stations like the one in Endor but it should move around from system to system and not be in the most commonly used sector in Endor space.
It would also be nice if you could take duty missions from factional bases and it would be even better if each base had a quest like most of the spacestations. This could also supply some more content for aces and other higher tier pilots. Instead of listing by tier difficult the NPC at the station could issue a warning like "It would be unwise for pilots with anything less than a B-wing certification to attempt this mission alone." That way players would know it was an ace level quest.
