When playing JTL, everything seems to be going fine, until I start to attack a enemy ship. After engaging the enemy, the (enemy)ship(s) flight pattern becomes erratic and uncontrolled, jumped from 80 meters in front of me to 120 behind me. This started to happen shortly after upgrading to the latest version of the ATI Video Drivers ( I am currently running a ATI 9600 PRO ).
Anyone else having this issue ? Or know of a way to fix it ? ( Minus dumping ATI and getting an nVidia card )

I cant help you with your problem, but, what I can say is...
DONT BUY AN NVIDIA CARD!!!!
Ive got an Nvidia 5700LE which is (meant to be, anyways) on par with your card (if not better). I lag whenever I look at space stations, star destroyers or stay zoomed in on any texture ingame (including the low detail ones).
I avaerage about 19 FPS on the ground game.
Frankly, I cant wait to burn my current card and get an ATi one instead, if just to get a better FPS.

um.. no offense to you mate but.. sounds like you don't know jack about computers =)
if you base nVidia's performance on a puny 5700LE, then you're a moron.. seriously.. that card is a budget card, not a gamer card.. do your research
