Thread: Dancers Woe and loot collectors frustration

This is a simple request to do with an inconsequential piece of JTL loot.
I have twice looted a datapad called "Dancer's Woe" which features some immersive text about a dancer. As my character is a dancer, I felt it was very appropriate for decoration and so left it on the bedside table in my house.
But guess what - you can only read this database if it's in your inventory.
I would love to see a small change to allow this datapad to be readable by anyone who enters the house as I feel it does add a little more immersion into the game. As it currently is, players who go into my house and see it being lived in can only see an object called "Dancer's Woe" on the table and and are unable to read it.
Gamebreaking? Not at all. Essential? By no means.
But it would be nice.

Yeah, it would be nice if people who came into your house could read them. I don't think it would be that hard to change them to allow that. I think you can for the farewell letter...

I agree Rouf, I also have "a notice of warning" and a few other space loot datapads which you cant read outside of your inventory (not even if they are in a bank or backpack I think)!
Since people would like them readable especially as part of a display I agree the devs should change this.

It would be nice if they could create some kind of terminal like a bazaar or vendor terminal but craftable by an artisan or architect called a library terminal. You could load it up with these disk then people could read the stories like that. It would also be nice if they had blank disk that you could write on.

yah, that would be great, but this is sorta off topic. You should add these comments to little things to make the game better or what ever that is. great ideas... man, i just hope these would be implemated into the game. sighs... and that idea about the libray terminal, just write short stories and stuff. man, that would be awsome... sighs...

I tried to do the same thing a while back. It would be awsome indeed if we could read them when out of our inventories or in a library terminal
