Ok first this is not a bash to JTL. I think its a great expansion but I think its alittle......bare in the missions
department. I mean every mission is either escort this, destroy that, stop that, etc. I want more of a uniqure mission,
a more ground and space "dungeon". Heres just an example and idea of a mission. Pls post and tell me what you think.

I call the mission "Derelict".

The Story
A Research Space Station which was used for "secret" testing on weapons, ships, bio-organic enhancements, etc has
recently stopped reporting. scouting vessels have reported unknown ships in the area that have great power. Every
attempt at contacting the Station has resulting in nothing but static. Your mission is to take a team to the station and
figure out whats happened to the station. be careful this is sure not to be a friendly mission. Your mission, discover
the enemy threat, search for survivors, recover all data, and last but not least put an
end to the terror.......... Dismissed Soldier, Good Luck.

Part one, Beginning.
This runs more of a mission than a dungeon and requires a team. Get the mission from a designated NPC. Soemone who would
have the knoledge of all the space stations in the galaxy, NOT Imperial or Rebel. This is a mission for everyone. He/She
gives you the details, a master key and the WP to the area.

Part 2, Aerial Assault.
Upon arriveing at the WP you are attacked by unknown ships. Not unknown as in to be decided by actual unknown ships never
before seen and can only been seen here. The team must complete 2 objectives.

Objective 1, Disable or destroy all fighters.
Objective 2, Disable Station secutiry (weapons and shields).

Part 3, The Station.
You start in a docking bay (duh). No cheap stuff either lets see some actual ships parked here, see some eye candy. You
next mission is to make you way to 4 seperate computer consoles in the station and copy their data.

Computer 1, The Bridge. (duh again)
Computer 2, Secutiry.
Computer 3, Medical Labs.
Computer 3, Engineering.

Part 4, Destruction.
As with all stories liek this you gotta destroy the Station (not for real ofcourse). While on the bridge and Engineering
you must activate the Self-Destruct. All players in the squad must then leave within a time limit (thinking 5min). If you
fail to leave the Station in the allowed time You are killed and end up back on the planet your assigned to as a pilot
or maybe the planet the mission was accepted. If you die in the explosion you do not get the final reward.
=======================================================================================
Death,
Now death can be expected in missions like this. So if you die you are respawned in the Docking Bay, BUT if you make it to
the Medical Labs your team members will then spawn in the labs instead of the Docking Bay. So the Medic lab are med way
between the other 3 main areas.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Envirionment,
Beat up. Broken walls with sparks, some passages blocked by debris the surroundings of a ship thats taken a massive
beating. Lets add a random bodies too actually get the feeling a large battle took place here. Bodies, blaster marks,
broken weapons, etc. No blood and gore just give it some realism.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The Bridge,
Blow out computer (except one ofcourse) again make it look beat up.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Medical labs,
Less beat up look. Here docs may pull out droids, heal wounds, reapply buffs, and entertainers can heal mind wounds and BF.
After you access this Terminal this area may now be used as a spawn.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Security,
Make this look really beat up like this was their last stand.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

A mid-level beat up look. Again lets see some eye candy here. Make a kinda balcony players can stand on and get a look at
what the parts of a full size station might have but damaged and broken.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The Enemy,
Look below for description.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The Reward,
Something good, something worthwhile. Since this is a a fairly large mission for SWG it needs to be something ppl can use,
be highly valued but breaks down or needs to be replaced like the AV-21. Maybe every member of the team gets a ship schem a
Firespray or something.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Loot,
Loot would be spread across space and ground use. Maybe loot weapons parts that can be used to make a wweapon more powerful
like how tissues work. Like "experimental Power Handler". For ship pilots the same thing. Parts that can increase a weapons
power or a ships mass, also include full parts, like what you would loot in space. As with everything else creds are
included and the random unlocked crate.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Difficulty,
Halfway between Geo Caves and The Vette. You can't solo it but a few friends can get together and complete it. No advanced
planning or an entire group is needed.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Pets,
As I see it pets maybe used here. Ppl don't become CH's for their health.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Enemy Pets,
Now lets face it theres gotta be some enemy CH's somewhere. Nothing crazy like Rancors or Crazed Durnis. Average pets that
you can actually see ppl using, that cat fit onto a station. Players however may use their rancors if desired.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Other Objectives,
Like the Vette has its rescure and destroy missions this can have multi versions.

Version 1, Access the ships main computers and discover what happens, and scuttle the Station.
Version 2, Find the survivors and release them, scuttle the Station.
Version 3, Locate all 3 experiments and their info then scuttle station. Objects are,
1) Weapon prototype doesn't work but could provide invaluable to our research. This will probably be located in the

Security wing.
2) A kind of bio implant has been created. While not perfected we still need all data on the project. This will probably
be found in the Medical Labs.
3) A new starship engine has been under creation since the Clone Wars. We cannot afford to lose all that research. This
will probably be found in the Engineering wing.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

This is mostly just an idea I had and a test to see how well something like this would be accepted by this community,
both my mission idea and space/ground mission in general. Please if you have any suggestion say them. Everything is
always better when everyones ideas are heard. Well its 1:30am hope everyone likes the idea.

WOW. Lol, great ideas there, except ya might be able to expand it a little, like this: Once you have destroyed the set the self-destruct, and get out, Every fighter left alive comes right at ya. while this may not seem like much, they are backed by a corvette that you passed on your way in. Thought to be uninhabitable, the main station's comp decided not to let ya go that easy, and currently has no engine power, but all turrets are active, and it was a few more as satellites, scavenged from nearby destroyed gunboats. So basically you are facing a mean boss with around 12 turrets, all aimedat you. The vette's aim would not be good, but the range is insane- plus, you must destroy it within three minutes. So this means ignoring the turrets if you have a small party and aim at the vette's bridge, where the computer is controlling it. While not easy, it is as hard as it would be for a large group trying, since the turrets' strength depends on you group's size. Now why can't you just hyper outta there? Well, in order to come close to the space station you had to go through a miniature maze of wrecked star destroyers, mon cal cruisers, med frigates, and several asteroids welded together. A large battle was fought here between the Imperials attempting to secure the station and the Rebellion trying to take it from the Imperials. In the ensuing battle the station's computer short-circuted and went on survival mode. It poisoned the crew (oh, and you'll need to salvage a few gas masks from the docking bay), destroyed both fleets, and began massing it's own army. Most of the enemies are weak versions of droids, like the battle droids (not SBDs) from the DWB. This is meant to be a fun mission, and not for soloer's with a peace macro on....Anyhoo, in order to get to the station, you have to navigate through the maze, all while trying to avoid or destroy random turrets placed as defense of the station. The station itself is not at full power since it is powering up its army for fighting, so the turrets on the station are weaker. And if you kill the generators on the station by certain hangars you can save yourself from fighting more fighters at the end of the mission. You pass the vette, but it does not move or appear to be on. So basically you either kill the fighters around the station, forcing it to divert turret power to make more fighters, or you skip them and kill the turrets, forcing the station to divert energy to fix or rebuild itself. This transfer of energy will allow you to enter in a hangar bay. You kill the target, get out, kill the vette, and then have time limit to get out of the field before it goes critical (the station was trying to build itself into a Death Star- the Empire was making plans aboard that station). Actually, that gives me an idea. If you are Imperial, you must recover some of these plans for a new Death Star, while as a member of the Rebellion you must destroy them. Either way, it ties into something in the timeline, lol. Those are just some food for thought, hope it helps .

Thats not a bad idea. So the station is able to make clones. Hmmmmm it fits in with early Star Wars and current Star Wars. Yeah.... it could be an old "clonner" vessel that was abondoned. So the story fits the Empier says it was an imp station and rebels say it was a rebel station. The unknown enemy could be malfuntioning clones. With the experimental technology from experimental research they stole they made the unknown ships.

No the dead vette coming back to life is alittle to much "Resident Evil" for Star Wars. How about an unknown function of the station is it can break apart like the Enterprise from Star Trek. It breaks off that has the power between a high lvl gunboat and the vette. The ship needs to be tough but not to tough. When the station computers sence the station is in grave danger it sends out the part that acts as a protector. You don't need to destroy the "protector" just disable it so its in the field of the blast. If you are able to hyper out before the time runs out you go back to the person who gave you the mission he then gives everyone who made it out of the blast the prize.

Turrets might be alittle hard for melee pros. Given it would make ppl take a ranged pro but the map shouldn't force ppl to do anything. Maybe have the malfunctioning clones as the enemy but also have Battle Droids walking around instead of turrets. NO SBD'S!

The "killer ship" lacks a certain rythum to me. Like I said an old clonner station. One of the experiments was making clones. Both factions could say they used it for experiments and the other one sent a spy and sabatage the cloneing computers to make the malfunctioning clones. Their now setup to kill anything thats not a clone or droid.

This way both private, imperial, and rebel faction players can do the mission. This would cover why they would want the surviviors, the data on the experiments, and what happened.

Can you make your '=====' and '_____' lines shorter so they don't force us to horizontal scroll so much? No offense,I'm sure your idea was pretty good, but it's annoying to scroll back and forth so I didn't make it much past the first couple sections.
