Think it was back in november when TH reported that the team had decided that any further choices between canon and fun would be made in favor of fun.

The new Essential Guide to Vehicles and Starships (or something like that), which includes Episode II stuff, says something along the lines of that even though the original Firespray prototypes were destoryed when Jango stole the Slave 1, that right before Yavin they were reintroduced and sold. But it said with imited production. So there is a reason why there are Firesprays everywhere but still rare.
So, Firesprays are canonical. Now onto those pesky Jedi...

And, if there's one thing I can say about Jedi, speaking to them, and speaking to people who deal with them, its that both sides in the equation are overflowing with so much fun they can hardly contain their limitless joy and lack of endless complaints. Why, they think its so dark fu-
Dang it, stupid sarcasm ration gave out... Oh well, I have been overusing it...
I'll tell you what'd be more fun, lots and lots more multiplayer ships, with big cargo holds you can access from the ground. Just got my yacht thanks to help here in the forums, and just moving around inside a structure inside space is wonderful. Fighters are only half of star wars, we need more big ships.
But, this has nothing to do with the original post, so I'll just say, the Firespray is tons of fun to have. Its great that they let you be Boba Fett essentially, if you want to be, but every scrap of his clothes and every bolt of his ship is going to be really, really hard to get

I wish it were true. If it was I wouldn't have the huge faction point penalty and I'd be able to wear my faction helmets as an Imperial Trandoshan. Unfortunately people (even though it has no effect on their own gameplay) insist on keeping it as it is because the Empire is a Racist government and it's SW canon. Sorry to get away from the Firespray aspect of the thread, but I find the quoted statement untrue in many regards.

A lot of people dont realize the difference between this game's Firespray and the Slave 1.
Slave 1 was highly modified to better suit Jango and Boba's needs for combat and bounty hunting.
The Firesprays in this game are limited to how much we can modify.
But I'm still hoping for the day when ground professions like Bounty Hunter and smuggler tie in to space.

Anyway firesprays arnt that great, they are almost as big a target as a MP ship, so in PvP they last about the same number of seconds
