Nope. The problem is the /ui. Everyone sets it differently and it's also different for every pilot faction due to the unique special commands. Set up the double row of Function Hotkeys on top of your /ui and drag all of your commands and macros onto them. At that point, you can assign the commands to various buttons or hat switches as you please.

I'm sure that would work. Profiles using the hotkeys would simply specify F1 or <SHIFT> F1 to use specials on a button press.

I do have an unrelated Cougar question. Anyone know of a good guide to doing work on the stick? It seems to have gotten really loose and sloppy lately. Guess I've been giving it a pretty good workout. How do I tighten it up again?

I think it is -the- best Cougar site. Frugal's is a cool place for all kinds of sim info and mods. Thanks, I suppose I shoulda looked there first but wanted to see if anyone could really make life easy for me by linking directly to something perfectly suited to my lazy-arse needs.
