I know about the experience bonus for players that have already mastered a factional pilot squadron already, and I know that you can't drop one squadron in the same faction, pick up another, and get the experience bonus.
However, can you master one factional squadron, drop that faction, master another, and then go back to that first faction again for an experience bonus?
For example, I'm currently working my way up through the Inquisitor Squadron mission...slowly...but at some point I'd like to get the badges from the other squadrons. Can I master the Inquisitor Squadron, drop my factional alignment, level up through the RSF with the experience bonus, and then rejoin one of the Empire's other squadrons and get an experience bonus from my mastery of the RSF squadron?

You get one XP bonus for having mastered each of the three pilot professions - Imperial/Freelance/Rebel.
1. You'll get a 1x bonus for mastering the Imperial squadron you're doing now. Any XP you earn after this will get the 1x bonus, until
2. You'll get a 2x bonus once you've mastered either a Freelance or Rebel squadron. Any XP you earn after this will get 2x bonus until
3. You'll get a 3x bonus once you've mastered a squadron of the remaining profession. Any XP earned after this will get 3x bonus.
That's it. It doesn't matter that you're doing the same or different factions, it only depends on having been a master of one or more of the three pilot professions.

I'm still a little confused. Here are my questions.
Since I am a covert Rebel, will I even be able to do the Imperial pilot profession? Does that mean I can only master 2?
Do I have to give up any of the previous mastered pilot professions to start a second?
Could someone please take a moment and kind of lead me in the right direction? I am currently a 2222 Rebel Pilot. What would be my next step after hitting Master, if I want to proceed with another pilot profession?
Thanks,

Thats a good question actually. I think you can only do Rebel or Nuetral factioned prof's due to your being a Rebel (on leave or not) I for one am Imperial so I've done 2 imperial and one nuetral.
Personally I'd like to run a Rebel pilot prof but there's no way I'm dropping down from Imperial Colonel to do so. (I mean, who didn't dream of flying an XWing as a kid?)
But.. I'll see if I can go on leave and even talk to a Rebel Pilot trainer.

Unfortunately, you have to be Rebel on the ground to take up a Rebel squadron. Same for the Imperials.
