Which ships are better? Rebel ships, or Imperial ships?

well what i mean is... what is the difference between rebel ships and imp ships.... can TIEs go into hyperspace?

They are pretty much even. And Yes all player made ships(w/ engine) can go into hyperspace(even ties)

but are there any advantages with speed/shields or anything between the imps and rebs?

All i gotta say is ignore the people saying they are equal they are not.


Imperial Ships are way underpowered versus thier rebel COunterparts.


Tie Interceptor attained at same techlevel as X-wing has 1 Laser and 1 Missile. The X-wing has 3 Laser and 1 missile.


The Master Imperial Ship has 1 laser and 1 missile. The Master rebel ship has 4 laser and 2 missile


Novice Imperial Ship has 1 laser and 1 missile. Notice a trend with the Imperial Ships? all the same crap

No, not really, because the same player made components are usedon both rebel ships an imp ships. So the only differences are in the chassis but they are insignificant.

I'm not sure. I have a similar question though, what are the freelance ships like?


I only got up to the second one in beta but it was pretty good (2 lasers one missle)

Yes it is. Tie Bomber and Tie Aggressor are the only differences. Tie Bomber is 1 laser and 2 missiles and Tie Aggressor has 1 Missile and 2 lasers but can only use 1laser solo need a copilot to use 2nd

Your average imperial ship can run circles around your average rebel ship. That's the strength of the imperial ones.


Rebels are pretty much stuck with Y-wings for two tiers. Sure, they might fit a lot of equipment, but they turn like the Titanic.

Big deal? Your capacitor/reactor won't have enough juice to support all4 advanced lasers and missile launchers anyways.
