How does one go about getting the Slave One type ship?

you have to piece together the schematic by reverse engineering looted parts, when the right parts are reverse engineered it will pop out 1 of 8 schematic pieces, you get them all, combine them and you get a limited use, firespray schematic.

can't remember if it's still called reverse engineering, but you take a looted ship part and analyze it with a tool that a shipwright can make, and it can better the part, or spit out a piece of the firespray schematic.
