How do you recenter the reticle, the crosshair thing?

  1. Hit CTRL-O

  2. Choose 'Controls'

  3. Click on 'Recenter Cockpit Camera Automatically'


Don't know why this isn't enabled by default...

you can do it if you hit the 5 key on your number key on your keypad.

Oh, I forgot to mention. It will recenter when you move your joystick/steer away in another direction. Give it a try...
