Today I picked up and installed JTL and logged in as normal, no problems. (well it's buggy but that's besides the point) WhenI tried to claim my veteran reward, I only qualified for 90 days. Seeing as how friends of mine who had been playing since launch couldn't get it either, I called up tech support and was told that if your account was in "cancelled" status for even a SECOND, it reset the counter. ConsideringI was using gamecards up until about 5 months ago, there was no way I could avoid "cancelled" status, since it would always cancel my account with a few days to go, even though I could still play until i actually ran out of time. Then I was told that if you couldn't claim the yacht today, you never will be able to, since the "cutoff day" was today. Is this true? If so, I'd see this as highly unfair to anyone who has ever used gamecards, if not, then whatever, I'll just wait till november when I will get it (hopefully)....

Thunderheart's original post stated that as soon as someone acheived 6 consecutive months of SWG membership, they'd get the yacht, even after JtL launch.

Of course, he ALSO said that using game cards wouldn't bork up your chances of getting the yacht, so....

I used Gametime cards b4, ive been playing sence the game started.... Ive been using a credit card for a while thou, it said i have 350+ days, I didnt think Gametime cards reset ur timer.

well apparently it did for me, since the guy on the phone said i hadn't renewed for 2 weeks, even though i was PLAYING those two weeks and had renewed the same day it ran out, this time with a creditcard....

but that's a moot point i suppose, just as long as i get it, i don't really care.

I have the same thing, and i'm quite hacked off. ive been sending tels and messages. ya know, all the can do is look at my account, say that ive been playingfor 6 months at least and give me yacht, plain and simple. but they insist that the system must do it. i don't know, i'm very irate nevertheless.
