As of now, there will be 15 different spacecraft released with the StarWars Galaxies: Jump To Light Speed (JTLS) expansion. There will be five ships in each of three categories: Rebel, Imperial, and non-aligned. While Julio would not disclose the complete list of ships to be released, the ships we could see on the various displays were as follows:
* Rebel: A-, X-, and Y-wing
* Imperial: Tie Fighter, Tie Bomber, Tie Interceptor
* Non-Aligned: YT-1300 (Han Solo's Millenium Falcon started off life as a stock YT-1300), Hutt fighters (unknown which variety/ies)
In addition, we were told there would be other transports (unknown which ones), and that the Imperial Shuttle was not known to be in or out for this release (though we all know the artwork for these babies already exists). There will be no player-controlled capital ships in this release, however there will be a few NPC-controlled ones roaming about. They cannot be landed upon at this point. (For the Rebels among you: the X-wing wings are fully articulated - they open and close upon command). Julio REALLY wants to see PC-controlled cap ships in the game, but like so many other things they "have to see how to make it 'work' first". quote
