Hi there. Possibly not the best place for this post, but, it applies to JTL as much as Shipwright.
Not sure if someone else hasnt already suggested this, but I was thinking that it would make sense if the
Shipwright profession had to rely on other crafting professions for some of the parts or components to
promote inter-profession trade.
Such as in Missiles or Blaster components, would it not make sense for the weaponsmith profession
to be necessary to provide warheads of differing types for the missiles, or perhaps cores for the blaster assemblies?
The Shipwright would still need to put them together in to assemblies to hang from the starships, but this would encourage
some inter-profession trade.
I know as a weaponsmith, I rely on Master Artisans for Power Conditioners, and Control Units to place into other
weapon components to assemble them.
Which brings up Master Artisans, not all Shipwrights would necessarily be Master Artisans, so wouldnt there be (if I am not
dense, and there are) components they would need from them?
Same could hold true for armor and armorsmiths, although this is a little farther of a stretch.
Just my two cents worth for fostering some trade between the crafters and artisans.
