I was wondering what kinds of good space loot people have gotten out there. what are the possibilities. Where to go to get the good the good loot at also?

Personally, I wish you could loot things besides ship components and Black Sun helmets. Like decorations; TIE Wings, X-Wing wings, escape pods, even corpses. I think it would be cool...

Actually other than ship componets and credits I have never gotten any loot. Actually the only thing I am aware of that you can loot thats worth any money is Firespray compnets

Ok what i was wondering what are some good stats on looted ship components that you all have looted?

I have looted alot of lvl 10 guns in deepspace lately, the best being 4321 max damage. I also looted a lvl 8 30k regen reactor a couple weeks ago in endor space. I re'd the reactor down to 21k mass and 32k regen, not too shabby. I wish i didn't get crappy lvl 3 gear in DS though that is a bummer.

Not entirely accurate. DS is the best place if you want lots of high lvl loot for youself, but tier 3 also drops lvl1 through 9 (and sometimes even 10) loot. For a shipwright who´s after the kuat disk´s for a Firespray shematic it is better to loot at a random tier 3 spawn, because you just get a much higher quantity of loot... and it does not matter wich lvl the loot is for Kuat´s, you just need as much as possible

Deep Space is far and away the best place to loot, simply because there's tons of enemies there andthey're all Tier V, (except for Imp Gunboats, which are Tier IV). If you do decide to go out there, however, one thing you should do is bind one of the buttons on your joystick to "target next enemy player". Then you just need to get in the habit a giving that button a tap every few seconds or so. If you do that you should be able to spot any other enemy players that are out there when they are still 2km away or so. Pretty soontapping the buttombecomes second nature and you won't even realize you'redoing it. In fact, it gets so habit forming that you'll even find yourself doing it when you're not in Deep Space. One other thing, is that if you are Imp or Reb, make sure you declare as overt before entering Deep Space, since then you'll be able to get FP for every NPC kill. (Sadly Freelancer is currently bugged and there's no way to enter Deep Space if you declare as overt before trying to get there.)

Also, one last thing. If do go out to deep space and find that there are no NPCs around, it means that some joker has blown up either the Rebel Space Station or the Imperial Star Destroyer. If one of these things is blown up, all spawns for that side will cease untilthe other one is blown up, which then causes boththe SD and Space Station torespawn. A server reset will also cause both to respawn. The point of all this is, PLEASE don't be an idiot and blow up the SD or the Space Station. You don't get a badge, the credits you get are not that much, they don't drop any special loot, and no one will think you've accomplished anything special since any master pilot who knows what he's doing can take them down quite easily. All you accomplish by destroying the SD or the Space Station is to most likely wreck Deep Space for a bunch of other people until the next server reset.
