Thread: Rebel pilot, nova or yt-1300

I finally have enough credits to think about buying a mp ship. Is this just a matter of personal preference or are there any advantages of the nova courier v. yt1300? I really want the mil falcon of course if I can.

Not really a choice as a rebel pilot. A rebel can only fly the Nova cruiser, neutrals can only fly the yt-1300. sorry man.

If your a rebel pilot you don't get a choice between the two, you get the nova courier.
Privateers get the YT.
Personaly i think the nova's better than the YT. Nova has more viewports, and has 3 missle mounts instead of 2. YT only has viewports in the cockpit, the rest of the ship interior is inclosed, and rather boring.

Yup, like the other two said, if you're a Rebel you'll only be able to pilot the Nova Cruiser. But in my oppinion, the Nova is the best MP ship out there. The layout is awsome, and the interior looks great. I love my Nova.

I'll have to disagree and say the Decimator hold that title.
That said, the nova has a certain atmosphere about it that makes it feel unique.

Like I said, it's just my oppinion. The Decimator does have a cool layout, but I prefer the Nova.

The Nova is better for taking out cap ships witht he 3 missile launcher spots, while the YT1300 is easier to target with the turrets

I love the outside of the VT-49, the inside is good, but okay. The Nova has a great inside with the rooms, but not so great outside.
And the YT-1300 has a great outside, but boring on the inside, it's a big circle! At least give it something like the EBon Hawk has in KOTOR.

The Ebon Hawk is a lot bigger then JtL YT-1300s. Hell, the Falcon is a lot bigger then JtL YT-1300s...

Hehe i took Han Solos path. Im a priviteer who after taking up the job became a rebel so im botha rebel and a nuetral pilot. LIFE IS GOOD!!

ok, thanks for being kind to such a noob!
nova it is!
just gotta save the credits now...I've started getting into ground game and buying weapons, armor,buffs, food, etc, ect.....

Honestly, unless your in an active guild or have lots of friends to load it up with, MP ships arent really worth it in my opinion.
They're VERY VERY COOL, but im wagering for most people they tend to just sit there in a hanger, looking cool, but doing little.
