With the new changes comming that makes it harder for pilots to seperate the JTL game from the Empire divided game, can we now please get some consideration to changes on how the pilot skill system is built up.

JTL have as Empire divided the option to play what faction you want or even neutral. but in jtl its required to reset all skills to 0 before allowed to change faction.

I dont mind that i have to train to learn how to fly a tie, or x wing or even a YT seperately, but can we please get it so we dont have to reset our skills to 0 if we want to try out something new in the game.

Especially with the new changes comming where jtl will be directly linked to Empire divided factions.

As the current system are for jtl, it would be like a player on ground had to have 250 free skill points to be allowed to speak with the recruiter.

its ok we have to fill and train each faction seperately, what we are allowed to use can even be directly liked to our ground faction.

but if I have mastered Rebel and become an ace, and i want to try being neutral for a while i have to drop all my skills before training any neutral, it should be like its for the ground boys. so let me have to train my skills from the bottom as neutral, but when im tired of neitral ships and want to be a rebel again, i should be allowed to back to my previous rebel ships, and not have to start all over again.

just imagine if players on ground had to reset all their skills to 0 before they where allowed to from imperial to neutral or any other way, it would be a riot. and there will be i riot when you force players to have the same faction in space and on land.

so me as imperial, and imperial pilot, want some time as neutral im tired of gcw, so i go see my recruiter i want to be neutral, what would they answer? something like this sorry no imperial pilots are allowed to be neutrals..... so i have to drop all my imperial pilot skills go neutral on ground train neutral pilot skills from the bottom, then when i want back as imperial, i have to drop all my neitral pilot skills before seeing my recruiter again, then train all my imperial pilot skills from the bottom once more.

either seperate it 100% or make it follow the same rules as for ground.

If you are that fickle on factions, stay a neutral pilot. Then it won't affect your ground faction. They should not need to overhaul the pilot skill trees for people that are constantly flipping sides in the war. That is the role of the privateer. You switch to the faction you wish to fly for in spaceif you wish to side with one(barring you are not an opposing faction on ground). Switch from Imperial to Rebel on the ground as much as you like, but you are potraying a privateer in your play style. Not flaming you, just don't agree with needing to change the pilot trees when there is already a pilot prof that is geared towards this ideal in the event that someone wants to change factions on ground often or play both sides of the fence.

I agree flipping is not desireable and it should not be easy to do so, I dont want anyhing for free. if i changed from imperial to neutral i would still have to learn how to fly neutral ships like everyone else. But what i dont understand is why i have to forget how to fly imperial ships able to do so.

what faction you have can directly control what skills your able to use, learn, train, and most impirtantly what ships your able to launch in to space.

now lets say i am imperial pilot and imperial on ground, i have my shiny decimator. and i go on leave? that effectively makes me neutral so now what should i be forced to drop all my pilot skills just to be able to go on leave? I sure am if i want to go neutral on the ground again, so what is the difference.

would rebels in space see a "neutral" decimator while im on leave or will they see an imperial decimator.

It dont really matter if we like to see then make changes in how pilot works, they are forced to make changes they have allready portrayed that changes will come. I just want to see the changes be as reasonable as possible so that me and most liely many others dont get sick and tired of grinding back up to master every time we come back from on leave.

Minor rambling:

I think pilots switching factions might change if they had some post ace content.

Right now im bored. No, im not bored, i'm Bored with a capital B. Not much on the ground intrests me right now. The most fun in JTL to be had is working your way to ace pilot. Right now im bored with Tie fighters and the only reason why i don't drop imperial pilot and restart as privateer or rebel pilot is because of guild affiliation.

I just like to fly, i love em all, and unfortuanlty its all there really is to do. JTL needs more to it and pilots playing hopscotch with factions might become a rare occurance if they had something more to do after you make ace. But right now i'm just stuck here, bored silly. I should have done all 9 pilot badges before joining a guild =/

Well i just realised that the new changes wont change a thing for one of my toons.

Im a rebel pilot, and neutral on ground. So with the new changes comming they will force my character to become rebel on ground as well fair enough.

Every time i log in i go to the recruiter and go on leave, that makes me neutral on ground rebel in space. in fact nothing will change for me at all, i will still have tef in play just as today, the only difference is i cant start my session as undercover i have to declare on leave then go on playing like i allways had, be a neutral on ground and rebel pilot in space.

I just have to start my session by going on leave.
