Thread: My ARC-170 ship is bugged please help!

Alright a few weeks ago guildies decided t hat we were all going to go imp to have more variety in PvP. Before we left I decided to run the ARC-170 quests and succesfully got the deed. I also went and ran the JSF quest up to the part where I needed to fly to space and figured I'd come back at a higher level to run the missions.
Well last night i hit 4-3-3-3 Neutral pilot after 2 days of grinding. I pulled out the JSF because it is my favorite and it was added to my datapad. Then I went to generate the ARC-170 and it tells me the quest has not been completed! When I press cntrl + j it shows a check beside it. Now to make things worse I can't go back down and talk to vader to complete the JSF quest (even though all I get is faction still wanted to do it!)
Any ideas of why I'm borked?

are u an RSF? RSF and imps may only use JSF, all other neutral pilots and rebs use ARC-170. IT is impossible to be able to use both at the same time

I'm a imperial ground troop with nuetral (Corsec) Pilot should I not be able to fly the arc-170? It just say i never completed the quest.

I have done both quests and have both deeds, currently I am unfactioned on the ground and neutral (smuggler) in space.... my JSF generates and flies quite well.... however like the original poster, I cannot generate the ARC-170 because the system says I have not completed the quest....
as for this thing of only Imps and RSF being able to use the JSF, it is incorrect.... any faction may use both and either deed as long as they have completed the quest and have the certification for the deed....

i talked to a csr in game and he told me to redo the quest because it marks a flag or something on your character when you complete it. I'm thinking of jumping back reb redoing the quest (if possible) and then deeding the ship before i go back imp.

Got the same problem, CSR who replied to my ticket says it is a known bug they are trying to fix.

It looks like we have to generate these ships before changing pilot professions or ground faction. I'm scared to deed mine now. As CorSec ground Rebel, I got the ARC and generated it. I switched to ground Imperial and got the JSF and generated it. I can fly both of them. I plan to switch back to Rebel, and eventually Alliance Pilot, but I think I'll leave my JSF and ARC in my datapad.
I have the Heavy X-wing too, I just hope I am able to generate it when I hit 3xxx Alliance Pilot.
