You must master the profession "Owning Rage of the Wookies Expansion"

You need to get a mining laser and cargo hold (and optionally a tractor beam). I assume you can just buy them from a shipwright if you can find them. There is also a quest--a series of quests really--on Kashyyk to acquire all the mining equipment. There's a walkthrough here.
