I'm a 4/4/3/3 Pilot. I just completed the Quest for the ARC-170.
I can not seem to get any Booster to work on this ship.
I have tried key-mapping the Booster command to several different keyboard Keys as well as several different Joystick buttons. I have also tried loading many different Boosters but none seem to work. My energy capacity does not exceed my Main reactor regeneration Rate, and I am not exceeding my ships mass. Can this ship even have boosters? Am I doing something wrong?
Also, I have put weapons in the ships 2 and 3 weapon slot but they will not fire. Do I need 2 other people to fly with me to fire them? I can fire all my weapons on my Y-wing and X-wing by assigning them to weapon groups and Joystick buttons.

My booster works fine. You need gunners to man weapons 2 and 3, the pilot can only fire weapon 1 and the ordinance.
