with the additions of the jedi starfighter, the grievous ship nobody will fly the TIE. Once again they add stuff intot he game with no real use. Give the thing an 90k mass and 2 weapons just like the other 2 ships so you see more than jedi starfighters and the grievous ship in space. Its really crazy how little thought the devs put into this stuff.
No matter how cool it is and how bad I want to fly it, againts tier 4 and 5's it sucks, so we all use the jedi ship or the grievous one. Make it a viable alternative.
Same thing goes for the Vaksai ship, what a rip-off. It looks the same as the NPC's ship, has only `1 weapon but has 150k mass. I would love to uise it but again the other 2 are better.

Incorrect.
With the same engine I use in my JSF, my Crimson Guard Interceptor blows it away on its sheer manueverability. Makes my JSF feel so sluggish in comparison when I hop back into it. My engine runs at 910 speed. To get the maueverability the Interceptor gets at 910 speed (it can almost turn on a dime even at top speed), I have to slow my JSF down to around 570.
The Interceptor is a superior dogfighter. I have ZERO problem, due to its manueverability, in waxing Tier 4 or 5 opponents.
The only weakness of the Interceptor is the one gun mount, and the only time this is a weakness for me is when I go up against a gunboat or corvette. When I know a mission is going to involve one of these, I use the JSF.
I was totally dedicated to the JSF until I got the Interceptor....the manueverability of it blew me away. The Interceptor is far from a "useless ship", hehe.
However, having this stupid Rebel badge on my character sheet is rather offesive, I agree. I really do want that changed. I have zero interest in anyone thinking I'm sympathetic to the Rebellion.
