Has anyone ever been in a nebula in Kessel? The flashes of light are so bright they hurt my eyes. Anyone else think they should be toned down a bit?

Well the Kessel nebulas can be just plain annoying. They flash like something that could give an epileptic a major seizure.

I think the rate at which the kessel nebula flashes is a bit excessive. I've seen several bolts of lightning last over 5 seconds. When dogfighting, 5 seconds is a long time. And yes, they're also very very bright, but that doesn't really bother me as much as the super long flashes. Still, it is pretty

The nebulae effects are fine for me with cockpit mode.

Blue nebulae just make it feel like you're flying around in milk. Green nebulae seem to be rougher than blue, creating turbulence.

WHITE nebulae however, actually damage your shields, but not enough to the point where they endanger you...mostly because the ones in Kessel are barely the size of an MP ship.

There is a black nebula in kessel. I didn't want to fly into it, but it was clearly there since I could blot out a black hole using it. Keep searching, I would love to see how many others can find it.

As for the flashing, it seems NPC are trained to use the force of lag against me since they always try to fly with the nebula in the background. I find it annoying and a lag factory, but dang it is pretty. I think its a good trade off.

Wich is why all modern games come with an epilepsis warning in teh manual.

Have you tried lowering your brightness / gamma a little to make them less painfull for you?
