Thread: Weapons 00, 01,02 ??

Those extremely dangerous, deadly and independent ‘Weapons 00, 01,02 etc.” (those that canzap you from any direction) that are equiped on NPC Gun Boats, Shuttles & Corvettes, are also on some NPC TIE Advanced or Aggressor. (I forget which).


Was wondering if players with the TIE (whatever) could equip such weapons as well?


Also, I read on a post here once, that by doing ‘said’ missions from the Dantooine or Dathomir Space Stations, they would repair your ship 100% instead of default 75%.


Can anyone verify that, and what missions they are?

Just talk to the station and do what they need done.


In regards to your question on turrets, I'm not sure what you mean. Are you asking if you can mount a turret in a TIE Agressor that can fire in any direction? No the turret, generally speaking, faces backwards. But, um, there aren't any turrets on NPCs that can fire any direction either. There is a bug where at certain ranges all of their weapons will shoot at you - but that's a bug.

Ok, fair enough. Can a player mount such a turret on a TIE Agressor?

Yes, it goes into weapon slot two. You'll need to take a friend up with you to run that gun. Same for the krayt, Y-Wing, ARC, and POB ships.

Duh!! How simple, I get it now... LOL


I never thought of it that way.


The turrets on those NPC ships are supposedly being manned by individual gunners, similar to what Luke and Han were doing on the Millennium Falcon in TNH.


I had never taken a gunner up when I was flying a Y-Wing so I’ve never seentheweapon 2 slot in action withanother player.


I also have a 2/3/2/3 Imp. Pilot, but he has never run into a Y-Wing with a turret installed. All of the turrets he’s seen thus far have been attached to Rebel Gun Boats, and they are hard as hell to take out.
