Thanks to a fellow RotW beta tester named Situs, he took me up on his Y-8 and I was able to take these screenshots. Enjoy!

That thing is huge! I don't really care about the mining thing, but if you could load all those turret slots with real weapons, that would make an awesome "capital" ship for space use. Probably won't happen, but it would be awesome.

It is huge. The lower deck is SUPER long as you can see from one of the screenshots. I just wish it had windows in the lower deck.

The person who took me up said it handles similar to other pob ships. Has two turrets, top and bottom.

HOLY COW!!! that thing is huge. I hope they incresed the item limit on the thing. Cause the yacht form what i hear is a pain to decorate, the Y8 looks to be more difficult to fully decorate.

But there's some areas you don't want to really decorate, as it'd take away from the utilitarian feeling. However, that's an awesome ship!!!

This ship is quite fun. I got mine back in the BETA and had a blast with it.

One turret is on the top of the ship, while the second is on the bottom and can't rotate a full 360 degrees. Then there's one front-mount for a tractor beam (haven't tried a regular weapon in it).

The ship is deffinately huge, but it could use some windows on the lower deck.
What's must fun about it, is you can find a couple "secret" rooms if you look around. They're not hard to find, but it took me awhile to realize they were there.

Oh, and you can't use paint or texture kits on it.
