Don't know if this happened with the CU or ROTW, but doing some space quest missions today, everything accelerates in all different directions making them practically unhittable, and I am in a A-wing.

The physics are way out of balance and are very unStarWarsy(TM). Couldn't even complete the mission against some wimpy tier 3's.

Its lag. It is particularly bad on Bria with our huge population. Try going to a zone like deep space and it will all be gone, then go back to one of the zones with the newbie mining missions and watch it take 3 minutes to kill a t1 ship.

So it wasn't just because I sucked? I couldn't blow up the tie fighters for the very first mission you get from the commander after signing up for the rebel fleet.

BTW, is there a online JTL instruction manual somewhere?

I have the same issues, JTLS is completly unplayable to me now, and has been since the CU. Which really really irks me, because thats where I spent a good 70% of my time.

your going to have to adjust your lead to compensate for the extra latency. start firing about 3/4rths of the way from the ship to the aimpoint the game gives you, and walk your fire out and pass the aimpoint if you have to. when you find the sweet spot, pour everything you've got into it. the worst part is its always changing, so you have to be contantly "calibrating" your aim.

Yep, I get the same thing too when Bria gets nasty. If they leave the server up for 2 full days it is always like that.

Happens in every MMORPG - give it a week or two and the population will get bored with the new stuff and drop a bit. New areas are always crowded at first, and right now you have the added issues of people grabbing the double xp.

It's the overpopulation of asteroid chunks that are causing the spikes. They really need to stick a lifespan timer on them so they don't just float aimlessly through the system for all eternity.

I really don't think it is lag in my case. What happens is everytime I get lined up to shoot, the enemy does some wild evasive manuevers in every which direction. Looks like to AI got pumped up to pre-release levels.

I've looked at those things. No ship, no matter how manuverable, can fly sideways. It's like they're bouncing off of invisible rocks.

they need to go back to rebooting the servers once a day is what they need to do, since they stoped doing that there have been a lot more problems in game I think.

AH!

I hadn't thought of that, but I bet you are right.

There needs to be some way to turn those things off.
