How so? You realize that while a Jedi is in space they are not gaining any Jedi XP. Therefore launching into space is no different for Jedi than running to their private house or logging out.

You do understand that is to complicated for most of the Jedi haters to understand,
to them the Jedi hate is nothing but a band wagon they jumped on.

You have to launch your ship from a starship terminal so I don't see how this can be an easy escape if your in the middle of no where and get attacked.

like jedis? play kotor
To bad no one "dies" in space.
And what is a Jedis?
You do know that Jedi is both singular and plural.

Heres the scoop!
When a Jedi dies in space, not only will he have all his force powers removed, he will clone back as an wall-eyed Ewok with a gimpy leg!
(the devs gave said previously, no penalties to any class, including Jedi, on death in space...now dueling aboard a ship? Dunno...)

I don't see why they wouldn't lose xp if they died in space...if they were running from a BH they should still have a TEF and whos to say the BHs won't think of waiting in space once you leave starport. Anywho, in the movie, Luke did use his force powers for precision firing, which i wouldn't be surprised if it is added in.
I'm not anti-Jedi, I just think the bandwagon has prevailed and now that every annoying person you ever knew on the server is a force wielding jabbermouth, its frankly annoying, thus, I would like to see them lose xp in space, as they lose xp from dying anyways, why would this instance be any different?

Why would it be different hmm thats a tuff one to answer, but I will give it a try.
Jedi get no no no no no no bonus in space, no force run, no saber throw, no force heal,
no heal states, in fact no one gets any ground based bonus in space.
On top of that you dont "DIE" in space you ship explodes, there is no cloning.
What I can not understand why do people give a woot if Jedi lose XP in space,
its not like there is going to be a lightsaber shooting out of the ship they fly.
There ship is not going to have a hooded cloak covering it, they are going to look like everyone else. And here is a novel idea there skill in flying will be based on them,
not a set of skills that the jedi skill tree gives them.

Don't know for sure, since I don't think anyone has grinded a Jedi in beta. But, since Jedi have no special powers in space that make them "better" then a non-Jedi player I would assume Jedi would have no penalty for dying in space combat.
