Hi..One of my guild members has set up a "Spacers Garage" just outside of our city (Phoenix Heights on Tat)
One of the features we have is a list of Pilots who are willing to help other pilots here ![]()
If you get a chance..drop in sometime and we will see if we can get you some backup ![]()

As the title says, I'm a 3 / 3 / 3 / 3 Privateer Smuggler Alliance pilot who wants to finally get his Master now if it would be possible during the double XP weekend.
I haven't touched my joystick in like half a year (no pun intended
) because I totally hated the grind. What can I do to make it feel less like a grind and make it go faster? What should I shoot, how, and where?

I always enjoyed hutning Dathomir or Dantooine space when I was still training, but at the time I didn't know non-masters could get into Kessel, so maybe try there as well.

..Is that possible? How would I do that? ..and - wouldn't I be massively slaughtered in there?

The best way to reduce the grind feeling is to do have friends along, wheter helping them or them helping you. I know a lot of people wants to solo alot but for me, that's what makes it so tedious. Almost every exp I made on the last box was from helping my friends and guildmates. In fact, when I finally mastered I had more than 4 million exp in the master box and It never felt tiresome.

It is possible, jump to dathomir (Dark Forces) there is a space station called Neutral Station with the underline Neutral Station as well, that is your entry into Kessel (and deepspace once at master)
If you know a master pilot the see if you can get him to come along and disable ships for you to finish off, if both neutral in kessel you will hardly ever get aggroed (unless you come across the new asteroid bandits there)
B-Wings: Very slow turning, they have missiles equipped but they need to face you for some time to launch.
Just get behind them, match speed (M) and blast away, match speed once more after first few shots.
Well over 8k XP.
A-wings: A TOTAL pain in the rear to hit due to their amazing speed and manouverability, should really not bother
attacking unless one of your stray shots has pi$$ed them off.
Around 6.4k XP
Y-Wings: (see B-wing)
Near the 8k mark XP
X-Wings: Not exactly fast but do tend to change direction rapid and can turn round before you realise, they pack a punch too.
Still no REAL danger if you get behind them before you start your attack.
Around the high 7k XP
Rebel Gunboats: Harmless if you're underneath them, LEATHAL if they turn around.
get WELL below them at a range of about 450m and start firing, keep reactor targeted, once that is out it cannot turn
during getting reactor out make sure you can see gunship at ALL times, if it gives ANY hint thats its going to turn, dip
nose down and boost away (their range is 550m) Once at safe distance, wait for it to calm down and approach carefully to
start over getting that reactor out. Safe runnings when reactor is out (although take weapon 3 out as well as this seems
SEEMS to speed up the chassis damage.
Well above 26k XP.
TIE Advanced: (pretty much see X-Wing)
Uncertain on XP, think its around 6.4k
TIE Interceptor: See A-Wing
TIE Oppressor: Fast, tough and packs missiles and isn't affraid to use them. Would suggest not getting involved until you have a better
Ship.
Around 8.4k XP
TIE Aggressor: Only engage accidently!!!! They have two pretty powerful blasters, one forward and a turret on rear that seemingly can
can fire in all directions above and behind the ship. They are also pretty damn fast! Should you get involved in one your
best bet, IMO, is to "Joust"
A little over 10k XP (should you survive it!)
Let me explain: If you get into a dogfight with an Aggressor, target weapon 1 and basically play chicken with it firing as you are head to head with it, once past it keep going!! Get a good 700 distance between you and it then do a loop de loop to once again face target, keep doing same until you have weapon 1 out use cap to shield shunt 3 as required (it WILL be required!!) Then try best to stay behind it to finish it off.
Imperial Gunships: Not really a good idea to engage at all. If you do choose to, get around 555 behind and slightly under it (keep out of the top of ship's line of sight) First off target weapon 2 and destroy it, then move on to reactor or engine. Same rule applys with Rebel Gunboats, if it starts turning point down and boost (good chance you will be back at dathomir station before you've realised it has turned tho!) But for all your efforts, the reward reflects... Should you manage to take out an Imperial Gunship you will get well above 33k XP and more often than not some decent loot and credits.
If you can find another pilot willing to assist you in disabling ships for you your XP will be A LOT faster, just group with them and you will recieve the full amount of XP for the kill.
NOTE: If you are on a MP ship, XP is split between the total amount of passengers. So as much as the idea seems good to be in a better ship, the end result is twice or more the amount of work.
Another note is to get involved with other people's Master missions, it will give you a good heads up for whats to come for yours, but also the chance of the XP reward for taking part in the killing of the corvette is well worth a bit of decay on a ship and components you prob won't use after master.
Star Ravenger(Imperial Corvette)/Coreillian Corvette(Rebel Corvette) 43000 XP!!! JUST for taking part, you don't have to blow it up all by your self!
P.S. I've done this purely on memory, some XP may be different, I think mostly higher tho. But tactics are burned into my head.
Best of luck.
