or am i reading something wrong??? i still havent gotten jtl because i couldnt get to the eb games where i preorded jtl.

In order to master your pilot profession, you must have a certain number of PvP combat victories. I believe it is 5.

No, there's no PvP victory requirement.
However, your 2 master missions will take place in Kessel, a PvP area. You don't have to shoot at any other players, but they can shoot at you.

And by this time next week there will ba at least 10 to 15 teir 4 to master pilots looking for a fight. Not all are griefers but it's kinda like going overt and getting pissed you got shot. If you go there you WILL be shot at and perhaps killed. Decent skills and a teir 3 or above ship is a must. The worst thing at the moment is we are talking two shot kills on most ships.
