Who uses keyboard and mouse vs joystick, and is the keyboard/mouse just as usable as a joystick?

I'm wondering, because my old joystick isn't compatible with this comp, wondering whether or not to buy a new one

I started the first day using keyboard/mouse and then I went out and bought anew joystick (Logitech attack3). Loving it now!

I started with mouse and key but found that it is a LOT more fun (and possibly challenging) to play with a joystick. I am using a wireless Logitech joystick.

I got to break out my old Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro (pre usb) and it's so cool to be playing a flight sim again. I've neglected the genre for a long time and the only way to play is with a joystick. I just don't want to play JTL like it was Freelancer.

Ayami - MCH since september '03 and until NGE.
The removal of CH and the NGE in general is the dumbest thing a company has ever done. period.
