Now I heard somewhere that the Firespray will be a loot kit. I have no idea if there is any truth to this.
If anyone knows for sure, please list your source.
If not...please list your theories.

Well, ym source is I played in beta.
It's random RE'ing of looted parts(some say any, some say KSE). It takes 8 pieces which then forms the schem, you're able to make 5-6 I think.

Yup, how you aquire a firespray:
Shipwrights Reverse Engineer loot.
On random occassions a data fragment will pop out.
There are 8 different fragments.
If you combine all eight you get a limited use schematic.
No specific loot type is needed to be reverse engineered. Its just random.

This is correct. The schematic yields 8 Firesprays.

Because there is such smart people here I have to ask. I picked up a piece of loot last night that instead of having mandal motors or mon calamari or something said Unknown then the part name. I thought for a second this might be part of it, but I guess not. Any clues on why it would be an unknown brand?

There doesn't seem to be anything special about them. Might as well consider it another brand.

is the firespray schematic only good for 8 uses now? i know that it was unlimited durring beta, but there was controversy over that...
