The skill point system istoo resrictive. Too many skill points are essentially wasted once you reach an elite profession. For example, once you attain Master Ranger many skill points are tied up in Master Scout that can't be used for anything else. My suggestion is that once an elite profession is reached, say Master Ranger, release all of the points in Scout for use elsewhere, letting the Ranger keep the scout skills since they are obviously part of the profession. Keep the 3 master profession limit in place to keep play balanced. The thing that's frustrating is I'm currently a Master Artisan, working on Master Rifleman and Master Ranger. This means that I have to give up artisan to attain the latter, giving up my vendors and the majority of my crafting abilities. I don't see the need to tie up skill points in the lower professions one the succeeding elite profession is reached. This would let a player have 2 master level elite professions and 1 lower level master profession, there shouldn't be a problem with players making uber characters given these limits. Freeing up the points would also serve as a reward for the amount of time it takes to achieve the elite professions.
What does everyone else think?
Keep up the good work!
P.S. please fix the game's clipping problems. I can't shoot critters that are stuck inside the walls of a building.

Since JTL has new professions it most certainly applies. You can have the same problem with shipwright.
