ok, i got jtl the first day it was out. i entered my pre-order code, and started up the game. i claimed both my flash speeder, and the luxury yacht. so what did i do? i got trained as piolot first, and then i immediatly went into space with my giant yacht! while having fun runnig through it, i noticed a small panel on one of the walls. it said "Escape Pod". well, i paid it no heed, and started decorating my new ship. about 30 min later, i ended up pressing the button, out of pure curiosity. surely it wouldn't blow up my ship, since it is a non combatant and invulnerable. but, it did. and i now can't use it at all, because apperantly it fried the chassis and engines when i hit the little, unassuming button. so now, i want to know how i fix this, because i can't use the manage function on it, at a space terminal, and i can't launch it into space. it also STILL has my items onboard. i would like to know if anyone else has had this problem, and if there is any fix for it.

Woah man that bites... I would write an in-game ticket, the CSRs will probably do their best to help you.

Wow. That's awful. They really should remove the escape pod from the yacht since it's a non-combat vessel and you should never have a reason to eject.

Greetings,
You can purchase repair kits for the component that was destroyed on your yacht and then repair it in the Manage option through a starship terminal. The repair kits are made by shipwrights.

Can't choose the "Manage" option on the Veteran Reward.

Update: I've tried this again, with gm abilities off this time
, and indeed it does not allow you to access this management window to repair the components. I'll send this issue up to development in case something can be done to add the ability to repair these ships while on the ground.

Your passengers might not quite agree. They need a way to escape, or else people could kidnap other people into their yacht!

ROFL that thought hadn't really crossed my mind but could you imagine the Forced RP ransoming a guild leader or member for millions only then letting them off lol. That would be funny.
Ok not really funny but it is humorous to think about
