Hey guys,

I've been out of SWG for awhile, but I've been seriously considering getting back in with JTL. My only concern is lag. In SWG around the towns the lag is so horrible for me it looks like I'm watching a slide show. How's lag in JTL? Is it very playable?

Sorry bud, but lag in JTL is exactly like the ground game, A HUGE SLIDESHOW... one second ur on the enemy tail, the next ur space dust, and ur like... DARN I SO HAD HIM!!!..

Well, I play 56k and experiance little to no lag in space

Also on the ground though, which is mostly thanks to 1 GB of RAM which helps alot! So, it will lag less than the ground but less than 512 mb, it will lag

So upgrade today!

I also get 30 fps in space and nearly 25 and up on fps on the ground and I have 512mb of ram also. There is a game guild link on the launcher that gives settings to help the game run better. Check it out and it will help greatly.

well my lag went bye bye for the most part. when i got close to the min memory reqirement

works great with 512mb but I am still thining of upgrading to 2 gigs of ram seeing that I really want to play doom 3 without graphics issues and frozen play

I haven't noticed much lag in space. A couple of times the ship I was tailing has jumped a few pixels, but other than that no problems.

running 1Gb RAM, Radeon 9800 (128Mb) and using T-Online DSL connection. I am in Germany and connecting to Eclipse, usually get ping about 170 - 180, with FPS of 24+ in the wilds and 12+ in the major cities.

I feel sorry for my non ex-pat friends in the UK though, most of them have terrible lag......about 12 - 17 days worth I believe...
